Property description

This gem of a private house is very individual and cozy, furnished according to the taste of the owner.

The special features are i.a. the fantastic direct sea view and the well maintained natural garden, consisting of purely native plants. For an early shower in the sun in the morning or for your refreshment during the hot summer or even for a moonlight shower the outdoor hot water shower can be used. On "cold" winter evenings a fireplace in the living room provides a warm and cozy atmosphere.

A roofed breakfast terrace and a sunny terrace on the roof with sun loungers and garden furniture invite you to relax.

Enjoy the tranquillity of the residence, the magnificent panorama and the fantastic sunsets in the evening! The owner would appreciate if you water his potted plants, but obviously this is not a must.

The house includes all amenities such as washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, air condition. Furthermore, kitchen utensils, such as juicer, microwave, electric mixer, toaster, water kettle and all the other little things that you require for your daily needs.

A small bedroom with a queen size bed is located next to the living room, seperated by a curtain. In a further room 2 more guests can sleep on a sofa bed.
The beautiful bathroom has two basins and a shower.

Please note that smoking is only allowed on the terrace.

The linens are changed on a weekly basis, the final cleaning is included in the rental price.

The local beach Praia Carvoeiro is reachable by foot in about 5 to 10 minutes, the famous rock formations “Algar Seco”, in 3 to 5 minutes.

This house is very suitable to overwinter. Please ask about our special rates for a long term stay.

Area information

This house is very quietly and nevertheless centrally located on the outskirts of Carvoeiro.

All main facilities such as banks, post office, cafes/bars and restaurants, English speaking doctors, many small shops and the beach Carvoeiro can be reached by foot within 5 to 10 minutes walk.

Car hire is recommended, but not required. With it, you can get to the next larger cities like Portimão, Albufeira or Lagoa or to the countless, beautiful beaches in short time. Swimming in the sea is possible almost throughout the year.

In the immediate surrounding of Carvoeiro you will find an equestrian center, two water parks, the Zoomarine, many golf courses, a tennis center, large shopping centers and plenty of watersports.

For hikers, the cliffs are a worthwhile destination for exploring.

Carvoeiro is the ideal base from which to explore the Algarve. This includes coastal walks or walks through the Monchique mountain area with more than 900 meters above sea level,

Sagres as most southwestern point of Europe, historic towns such as Lagos and Silves, an interesting day trip to the capital Lisbon (takes about three hours) or an exciting day trip to the Spanish Seville (journey time about two hours).
